Crossroads Care, Age UK and DASL are partners in a consortium commissioned by Lambeth Council to provide key services identified in the Lambeth Carers’ Strategy.

The site provides carers with news, events and discussion, and is “a very important way to find out about local carers’ needs to help plan services better and to keep carers in touch with information about services and news of interest.”

The easy way to print children’s party invitations

Printing your own party stationery online is not as easy as it should be. Most of the websites offering this kind of service make visitors download software to their computer first. And the designs are often old-fashioned or unattractive. Spotty Pencil aims to change that, with a range of printable children’s party invitations featuring themes and characters that appeal to style-conscious parents and children. We want to make it easy for kids to create invitations that their parents will be proud to send.

You can preview your invitations as you type, and then print them direct from the web page. They can be customised and printed in minutes, ready for children to hand out to their friends the same day. Try it and see!

Churchill House: Quality web design for a well-known language school

Churchill House School of English Language has a world-wide reputation for high quality courses and excellent value for money

Since 1998, they have also had an incredibly well-visited website, with ten of thousands of visitors per month, many attracted by their ‘Online English’ resources and Dr Grammar’s discussion forum.

Ten years later the decision was finally taken to start work on the second version of the site, and in 2009, the new Churchill House website was launched. It builds on the success of the old site, adding videos, easy course booking, members-only content and more. For site administrators, every page of the site is now easily edited, using a content management system — in up to 18 languages.

“Market leaders in office interiors and office furniture”

We designed the first JS website back in 2005 and after six years, a fresh design and more functionality were called for. So here’s the new improved website, with a comprehensive office furniture catalogue, furniture blog and plenty of project photos. The way we have constructed their product catalogue means they now have page one rankings on Google for a huge range of products.

(And here’s the chair I’m sitting on as I write this.)

The first of three sites commissioned as part of the Nationwide Foundation’s prison charities project.

Prisoners’ Families and Friends Service is an independent charity which provides support, friendship and advice to the families and friends of anyone sentenced to imprisonment or remanded in custody.

At first, staff were concerned that they might not be able to keep the site up to date. But they have found their new content management system so easy to use, that their homepage seems to be updated with fresh news almost daily.

A fresh look for the umbrella experts

Following a successful website makeover for PromoStore, we were asked to come up with something creative and cost effective for the Umbrella Store, a B2B site selling promotional umbrellas. We did away with the old confusing layout and navigation, and came up with a solution which allows the product ranges to be clearly presented to customers and search engines, while keeping development costs to a minimum.
